To support TPRF’s efforts to reach a global audience

ANSWERS TO: TPRF Assets Manager

DESCRIPTION:

Create overall systems for translation teams and coordinate the teams responsible for translating the TPRF website, social media, subscriber communications, videos, and Peace Education Program materials

TASKS:

• Set up standardized processes and standards for translation teams in consultation with Assets Manager
• Communicate translation needs and timelines to translation team leaders
• Work with TPRF staff to establish translation project timelines and prioritize projects
• Assist translation team leaders with assessing the needs of their teams
• Help translators solve issues or questions that arise

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Basic team management experience
• Very good English verbal and written skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel and Google Docs
• Translation experience a plus
• Some experience using WordPress a plus

REQUIRED RESOURCES: Personal computer, reliable Internet connection

TIME COMMITMENT:

Up to 10 hours/week
