ANSWERS TO: PEP Graphic Arts Coordinator


Creation and management of manuals, workbooks, and documents used to support the delivery of the Peace Education Program based on PEP templates to be provided


• Design and layout of manuals and workbooks used by facilitators and participants in the Peace Education Program (US UK versions)
• Provide design support for teams translating PEP into various languages
• Create graphics for PEP DVD cases and labels
• Design and layout of support documentation to assist facilitators in the smooth delivery of PEP


• Strong visual sense, creative flair, originality
• Strong computer/technical skills (advanced level of skill with InDesign)
• Proficient in Photoshop (for the acquiring, resizing, and revising of images)
• Familiar with all main image file formats (i.e., jpg, tiff, psd, png, bmp, pdf)
• Understands how to change formats and resize images for different media channels (such as web/print/posters, etc.)
• Good teamwork skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent time management; well organized
• Can illustrate a concept by designing rough layout for approval
• Education and professional experience as graphic designer
• Good communication skills
• Problem-solving ability
• Proficient in English

REQUIRED RESOURCES: Private computer and working backup system; high-speed Internet access; color calibrated monitor; proficient in and owns InDesign; Illustrator Cs5 optional
